BCBaits Process - Custom Hand-Poured Soft Plastic Baits

We pour our custom hand poured soft plastic baits with the highest quality plastic we could find. It's made to produce very soft baits. We don't microwave our plastic, becuase using a stove top heating method produces much richer colors. Besides, we dont want to risk standing around a microwave as much as we pour our baits (could shrink the family jewels if you know what I mean).

Most of our custom hand poured soft plastic baits are loaded with salt. The salt gives the bait a very good sinking rate, as well as giving the bass a taste that they don't let go of (most bass fishermen already know of the beneifts of salt). For soft plastic baits that we dont want to sink, we add in one of our three custom created scents (a shad flavor, a crayfish flavor, and a mix flavor with shad, crayfish, and other shellfish). This scent slowly desipates in the water column attracting bass from all around to come investigate.

Adding the scent to the salty custom hand poured soft plastic baits as also proved to be a very good producer. The only problem (if you call it that) with adding the scent to with the salt, seems to be the baits get smashed by the fish harder, and they seem to rip more on hook ups. Not a bad problem is you ask me.
